Origin

This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.

Narrative

The steep 1.3 km long and 1 km wide glacier draining the SE slopes of Imeon Range on Smith Island in the South Shetland Islands. Situated E of upper Dalgopol Glacier, SE of Kongur Glacier and SW of Ritya Glacier. Flows eastwards from a part of the main crest between Mezek Peak and Mount Christi, and enters the head of Pakusha Cove on Boyd Strait. Bulgarian mapping in 2009. Named after the settlement of Noseite in Northern Bulgaria.
